A reader recently asked about what Accredited meant in relation to home school. Accredited homeschool programs follow a preset curriculum that has been approved and is similar to the curriculum followed by public schools. Parents that don’t actually want to teach can use accredited programs that have resources for independent learners and, in some cases, have their own grading structure online.
Accredited Home school programs often keep records which can be very useful when trying to get into a college or other type of program.
