Summer is just around the corner. You can practically feel it in the air. As always, summer brings campouts and bonfires, fireworks and snow cones, and beautiful beaches with the dreaded swimsuit. Every year the suits pop up in the stores, and every year finding a suit that is flattering to your body while keeping it covered is nearly impossible. Thankfully, there are retailers who are beginning to recognize the necessity of attractive, modest swimwear for those of us who just don’t want to show off anymore than is necessary.

The best place to find modest swimwear is online. Believe me, I know. I went through this last year. It was nearly impossible to find what I needed in the stores near me, but I was actually able to find quite a pretty good variety online. Most of what I found was absolutely adorable. One of the greatest benefits of these online stores is that a lot of the items they offer are meant to work great with more than one thing. For example, the swimsuit tops are all different colors, but the bottoms will be three or four different styles in a neutral solid color. Or all the items, both tops and bottoms, will be made from six or eight colors and prints. This makes it so you can mix and match most of the items, creating a custom suit. It worked great for me.

This summer you don’t have to be embarrassed about your suit, or embarrassed because you’re not all that thrilled with your body. You can find a suit that is both flattering and modest, one that you will be happy to wear.
