The Importance Of An Education
One thing my mother-in-law had always wanted as a girl was a college education. Unfortunately, this ended up conflicting with her other huge life goal: starting a family. She met my father-in-law as a young college-age woman. Before she had completed her degree, they got married and starting having children. But despite the fact that she would give birth to five active boys over the years, my mother-in-law was determined that a college education was something that she must complete. She wanted to set an example for her boys that obtaining an education was one of the most important things anyone can do. While in the midst of mothering, she enrolled in college once again and by completing online courses and night classes, she was able to obtain a bachelor’s degree from a fine university. Now that all her boys are grown, she is working on her master’s degree while teaching at a local university.
A good education can make all the difference in your life. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a fresh high school graduate, twenty-something, thirty-something, middle-aged, or even a senior. It is never too late to receive an education. If you are a resident of Arizona looking for a Tempe college, perhaps you should consider Rio Salado College. Students can receive associate, bachelor, and master’s degrees through Rio Salado’s unique partnership with three other community colleges and three universities. Their mission is to find ways to make higher education more accessible to students of all ages.
